Samantha Tross is outstanding in the field of Surgery. She is currently a Consultant and Orthopaedic Surgeon in Ealing Hospital. She is full of passion, and has a mission statement which involves efficient and excellent service delivery all the time which she has lived by.
She studied at Middlesex Medicine School and University College, and graduated in 1992. She later on specialized as an Orthopaedic and completed training in 2004. She has been extensively and intensively trained in renowned institutions worldwide, and is highly skilled and experienced in a wide range of skills, such as, hip resurfacing and arthroscopy, among others.
Samantha has gained recognition for her achievement, from being documented among the great and mighty, in the 2011 Black Power list, and one of the top 100 most influential people in Britain, to children’s fiction books being written based on her story, by Tamarind Press, which provides Black youth with a role model they can easily relate to.
Samantha was born in 1968, in Guyana. She was scheduled to attend Queen’s College, but her father travelled a lot. They finally settled in Britain. Hers has been a success story to admire. She shows that for ladies, it is possible to achieve in male dominated fields.
